We are thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with Myenergi to enhance EV charging solutions for businesses across the island of Ireland. This collaboration will see GoPlugable recommending Myenergi’s OCPP-compliant Zappi chargers, providing a robust infrastructure for business owners, both big and small.

GoPlugable's EV Business suite, combined with Myenergi’s advanced chargers, offers a comprehensive solution for businesses, helping them manage employee and fleet EV charging effectively. This partnership is crucial for building a robust EV infrastructure in Ireland, a country that has been found to be one of the most expensive places to run an EV in Europe. Research by Switcher.ie revealed that the cost of charging an EV in Ireland has increased by 15% in the past year and is up 34% since 2021. A full charge costs an average of €22.25, almost double the European average of €12.63.

Key benefits of Myenergi’s OCPP firmware include:

  • Dynamic load balancing capabilities

  • Wallet-friendly grid consumption management

  • Advanced scheduling functionality with remote access

These features ensure seamless integration of EV charging infrastructure with business operations, resulting in cost savings and increased efficiency.

Additionally, Zappi home EV customers can benefit from this partnership by receiving a welcome credit to become Plugable hosts, thereby maximizing the utilization of their home chargers.

A recent Plugable survey found that 65% of EV drivers are likely to frequent or spend more at venues with charging options. This partnership aims to meet this demand across various sectors, including hospitality, real estate, and destination parking.

Both GoPlugable and myenergi share a pioneering spirit in the Greentech space, each led by female founders dedicated to innovation and sustainability. This collaboration highlights the power of joint efforts in advancing the EV revolution.

Maebh Reynolds , CEO of GoPlugable, stated, "This is a dream partnership for us, we have been so inspired by the immense success of Myenergi and are honoured to be working with them to bring greater charging options for all. We are excited to work with SMEs and display the many benefits that charging infrastructure can bring to their current and future customers.”

Noel Hynes , Country Head of myenergi Ireland , added, "This partnership with Plugable enables businesses to leverage EV infrastructure to create new revenue streams and make their venues attractive to EV drivers. For domestic EV owners, it unlocks the value of their home chargers by allowing them to become hosts on Plugable."

This partnership will enable Myenergi business customers to benefit from GoPlugable's platform, while Plugable leverages Myenergi's innovative technology and installation expertise.
