Our founder and CEO, Maebh Reynolds, a pioneer among women in technology and one of the first female engineering graduates to clinch this award, led us to this remarkable victory. We're overjoyed to have this level of recognition and committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the realm of EV charging.

Our mission at GoPlugable is simple but ambitious: We're working tirelessly to create the world's largest electric vehicle (EV) charging network. We're addressing the critical challenge of access to home chargers by developing a unique peer-to-peer (P2P) network. This network connects home chargers, enabling EV users to share access with each other, thereby reducing the pressure on public charging infrastructure.

We believe that our software and hardware solution is a game-changer. Not only does it help homeowners manage access to their home chargers and benefits around 20% of new EV drivers who can't access home chargers due to living in apartments, rented houses, or places without driveways.

Maebh says, "We're not just building a business; we're building a community." Our platform allows neighbours to share resources and work together towards the shared goal of sustainable living.

Beyond our primary solution, we're also tackling the secondary issue of limited access to EV charging infrastructure. This issue is a significant barrier to the widespread adoption of electric vehicles. Creating a shared network of home and business charging stations makes it easier for people to transition to electric cars.

This monumental win at the Queen's Dragon's Den competition endorses our innovative solution and provides us with resources to accelerate our mission. The £10,000 cash prize will be crucial in helping us advance our work and make an even more significant impact.
