GoPlugable Shines at the All-Ireland Sustainability Awards: A Double Win!

We are thrilled to announce that GoPlugable has been honoured with not one but two prestigious awards at this year's All-Ireland Sustainability Awards, held in partnership with Everun. Our CEO and Co-founder, Maebh Reynolds, was recognized as the Young Change Maker of the Year, and GoPlugable was named the Best Small Business.

A Night to Remember

The gala evening was a sold-out event, graced by around 400 attendees from various sectors. It was a night filled with celebration, fine food, and even better company. The excitement was palpable as the awards ceremony unfolded, revealing the winners who have made remarkable contributions to sustainability across Ireland.

The Journey to the Awards

The competition was fierce, with 225 entries from individuals, businesses, and organizations across the island. The judging process, which concluded in August, was a rigorous one, and keeping the winners a secret until the gala was no small feat!

Young Change Maker of the Year: Maebh Reynolds

Our CEO and Co-founder, Maebh Reynolds, was awarded the Young Change Maker of the Year. Maebh has been a driving force behind GoPlugable's mission to make EV charging accessible for everyone, irrespective of where they reside.

"Winning this award is both humbling and incredibly exciting. It's a testament to the hard work of our entire team and the support of our community. We're just getting started on our journey to revolutionize the EV charging experience," said Maebh Reynolds.

Best Small Business: GoPlugable

GoPlugable was also recognized as the Best Small Business, a testament to our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Our core product, the GoPlugable app, aims to be the single destination for EV owners when it comes to their EV experience.

A Bit of Craic: Double or Nothing!

In the spirit of celebration and a bit of craic, Team GoPlugable is now in a "double or nothing" kind of scenario. Just like the parrot in the movie Home Alone says, "Double or nothing," we're taking this win as a challenge to double our efforts and impact.

A Big Thank You!

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the All-Ireland Sustainability Awards and Everun for this incredible platform. We also want to congratulate all the silver and gold category winners and every individual and organization that participated. Your efforts are shaping a more sustainable future for all.

What's Next for GoPlugable?

This double win has not only fueled our passion but also set the stage for an exciting road ahead. Currently, we are in the midst of user trials for our GoPlugable app. If you're interested in participating in these trials and getting a firsthand experience of our service, feel free to leave a comment on this article.

But that's not all! We're also packing our bags for Vienna, where we'll receive the Best Startup award by FIA. It's an honour to be recognized on such a prestigious international platform.

And as if that wasn't enough, our CEO, Maebh Reynolds, has been nominated for the Inspirational Woman of the Year by the NI Motor Industry Awards. We're eagerly looking forward to the ceremony and are hopeful for another win to add to our growing list of accolades.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Your support means the world to us, and we invite you to stay tuned for more exciting updates from GoPlugable!
